Parking, Transportation and Additional Venue Information

The Spring Academy on May 18-20, 2009, will be hosted at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. The Grand Sierra Resort was recently renovated with newly-designed lodging rooms, foyer and restaurants. Eateries at the Grand Sierra Resort range from fine dining such as the new Hollywood inspired Italian restaurant, Dolce Enotica, to family favorites like the famous old time burger shop, Johnny Rockets, and Charlie Palmers Steak and Fish. Within the hotel guests will enjoy a 50-lane bowling center, virtual golf, movie theaters, shopping, outdoor lake-top aqua golf and the outdoor Thrill Park. This venue is conveniently located near the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. For more sight-seeing around Reno/Tahoe, the Grand Sierra Resort offers day tours, which are $60/person per day.

Airport Shuttle:

There is a free shuttle to/from Grand Sierra Resort to the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. The shuttle leaves the hotel on the hour and half hour, daily between 5:00am and 11:30pm. The shuttle leaves from the airport exit located at the far end of the baggage claim every 15 and 45 minutes past the hour daily between 5:15am and 11:45pm. Free.  Valet parking is available. There is ample parking at the Grand Sierra Resort, including parking for large vehicles, such as campers and trailers.
